Newly single mom

When my daughter turned 1 month old, I became a single mom. How do you all of you do it? I am in the marine corps and have no family around. It sucks not having someone there to help.

You will be just fine. My husband left while I was pregnant with our 3 child. I have survived. You will be amazed at the things you never knew you could do. Be proud and hold tight to your loved one's.

I was a single mom from day 1. My daughters dad still sees her once in a while but he doesn't take her at all so I do it alone. He's wanted to get back together but the stuff he has done in the past just totally turns me off...Anyway, It is hard at times but I enjoy it so much! I wouldnt have it any other way. I love having my baby girl all to myself, dont have to share her with no one :) The ONLY issue that I have is that, if I was with her dad, I could stay home with her, but I choose not to be with him so I am starting school next week and have to leave her in a daycare :( She is 10 months old and I have only left her with a babysitter (my mom) 3 times so I am very nervous!! ... Sorry, getting off topic - It does get hard when there is no one to help but like I said, some might say that I'm greedy but I love not having to share my daughter with anyone!

It's really hard to be a single mom when ur all alone. But it can be done. If u have to take some time off if u can to get things straightned out. there should be a group of moms that do things togather in ur aera find that group that will be a major help for u. and try tomake some friends in the aera everybody always wants to help with a baby
