Hi, Im having a hard time getting my 6 month old to eat fruits and applesauce. He eats veggies very well and mashed potatoes but doesnt like fruits. I dont know if its the sweetness of the fruits or what it may be. He is breast fed so I figured he would like the fruits better then the veggies because breastmilk is sweet. He drinks juice. Is anyone else having this problem? What can I do to get him to eat fruit?

try mashed potato and apple, mashed banana and cornbeef...or even try making fresh juices...stay away from oranges, kiwi, pineapple, strawberry as these have a slight bitter taste....and soon as u know it ur little one will be eatting fruit

With my son at first he wouldn't eat the rice cereal finally i found applesauce could be mixed with most veggies like carrots , sweet potato, peas ,squash, breakfast cereal all worked for him. From experience it took many times trying just one food 10 to 12 times Although my sister and her son had problems with allergies Signs that most wouldn't consider a typical reaction Diaper rash around the anus, vomiting ,gas trial and error all i can say i hope my daughter wont be such a guessing game good luck tc
