i hav a one year old daughter, and her dad left me when i got pregnant when she was a about 2 months old i meet up wiv her dad and he said i dont want anything 2 do wiv her.
but the thing is his family dont no about my daughter, do u think i should tell them bout her and if so how???

yes, just because he dosen't want a relationship with her, dosen't mean his family won't want one. I agree a letter with some photo's and short note, leave contact details and then it is up to them At least when your daughter is old enough to ask the tough questions, which she will ask, you can honestly tell her you did all you could on your side.

I agree. A simple letter stating the facts. I have a son, who's father didn't want to know and his family don't know. My son is now 16 and I often think how proud they would be of him, and how much they have missed out on.

I feel a simple letter to his family will be a good way. You must include some photos of her and a simple note indicating ur daughters name and birthday. You may say about ur wishes of her growing and that hope someday soon ur daughter can meet them. You dont have to mention the status of ur relationship with her dad. If he doesnt care, theres no point at all. I'm sure the family will be glad of her and of u doing that. But if the family doesnt seem to be quite happy then just stop there.You have done ur part.
