Welcome to teenhood! I have learned from already going thru this twice that teenagers are wanting us to set boundaries for them. They will push as hard as they can to see how far you will go. Just some advice, start now!!! I waited a little too late for my oldest but when I finally realized it, implemented it, She did a complete 180 and life got so much better. Set boundaries. Pick a form or forms of discipline you are going to use (i.e. take away privileges....)and stick to your guns!!! If she crosses a boundary you have set, show her you meant business when you set them. You can be a friend to her, but not a best friend and still be her mom. We have to watch that fine line. She may not like you for it now, but she will love you for it later in life. Hope this helps!!!
