My son cute his first tooth at 5 mths and he did with dill pickles, they stay cold and they have little nubs for there gums and gripe water is pretty much the same as dill pickle juice so u get the best of both worlds, give it a try or u can use frozen celery just soak in water and freeze them they cant choke on it cause they cant bite it.

I used teething rings frozen and just cold, teething tablets, tylenol or tempra, orajel, babyclothes soaked in water then folded into a cube and thrown into the freezer ikn a ziploc bag, when the baby is fussy you take the cloth out and let them chew on it....it feels good because it is hard and cold and softens as they chew on it but stays cool for a period of time!!! I never did use frozen waffles because i was tooo scared but i used freezies... just leave the wrapper on and let em chew!!!! My favorite however i think would have to be the vibrating teethers!!! They i am sure helped to make the teeth break through!!!! How old is your baby?

You can try frozen carrot sticks or bananas. You can also try freezing their favourite juice in popsicle trays. My kids also enjoyed gumming cherios.

I used frozen waffles. They also served a dual purpose, food and teething relief. If your baby is too young, keep a few damp washcloths in the refridgerator. When you need to sooth his/her aching gums, take it out and let them chew on it.

Hylands homeopathic teething tablets. totally awesome. they calm your baby, ease the pain, are tiny sweet instantly melt in their mouth and best of all.....all natural, no side effects, and can't over dose. Very cheap....I get mine at www.vita-cost.com or you can usually find in the baby section at your grocery store.

cool teething rings, cool cloths, orajel when he was old enough, gum scrubbies from the EYC(they sell them in the grocery store too I think they're little blue things that slip on your finger with soft rubber bristle things so you can massage their gums), tylenol for when the pain was gettin too much for him, patience, more patience, and headphones occasionally lol j/k but just remember this too shall pass and try everything you can think of some things might work for one baby and not for another. Try watever will kick the pain and help break the teeth through, biscuits are an option too but it depends on your baby, best of luck!
