My son is 2 and so active it drives me nuts. Its ok if he can be outside to play but stuck inside when wet he doesnt know what to do with him self

Even if I take him out for a couple of hours and walk him out, hes still going, a bit like an eveready battery I reackon, my daughter is so completely different.

I wish I knew the answer to that. My almost 15 month old son does NOT stop moving until he's asleep. He is constantly into EVERYTHING. The dresser drawers (clothes on the floor). his toys (all over the floor) you name it. He doesnt even sit still for story time anymore. Well what can I do? He's an ACTIVE boy.

its so refreshing to read this i feel like at last i am NOT the ONLY mother out there with an over active child.
My son is a lil over 2 and literally doesnt stop from 630 in the morn till 9/10 at night!
it is GO GO GO all the time, i have modified his diet to no end as i have found he is very sensitive 2 sugar and preservs and this has helped A LOT but yes he sounds just like all these other boys.
INTO EVERYTHING the min my back is turned, cant sit down nd eat a meal has 2 jump around, gets cabin fever wen stuck indoors for more then a day (its currently been torrential rain and gail force winds here for 4days now nd he is climbing the walls)
I wouldnt say my son is a handful bcoz he is a good kid he is just VERY VERY active-saw a doctor on tues who looked me up n down n said i was 2 fit 2 b a mum then looked at my son nd said now i no why ha ha..
i guess boys just need that stimulation, isnt that why they play sports of a wknd, their brains r programmed dif 2 ours, women can sit nd do stuff but thnk at the same time about other things and multi task men r one on one with things nd i guess this is why they need to do stuff ALL THE TIME.....

I have got to the point with him that I let him run til he drops we paly out side heaps kicking the ball around etc, not only does it wear him out it also heaps me stay in shape. I couldn't wrap hiom when he was a baby as he would scream coz he couldn't move refused to have any blankets of him as he went to sleep.

I wish I knew I have a three year old he has not stopped moving at all from the minute he was born. If I turn my back he is into every thing, climbs on every, turns the light switches on and off all the time. i can't let him out of his stroller at the shops as he takes off. I dont know if this having to much energy or if he's just naughty but by the time bed time comes I'm exhausted.
