Working Overnights

How do you get over working nights and barely seeing your children? I am employed by a company and started days. 6 mon. into me working, they switched me to nights and I am having a hard time dealing with it. I have 2 young girls 2, and 14. It's hard finding daycare at nights and although my eldest can watch the youngest, she take college prep classes after school and gets home after its time for me to leave. My union rep asked me where my "baby daddy" was. That kinda hurt. I never missed a day until i was switched. Is anyone else having these issues? What can I do?

I have been working night shift (7pm-7am) for the past 12 years. My daughter is now 7 years old. I still feel like I see my daughter plenty. I only get 3-4 hours of sleep each day, but your body adjusts. I have been blessed with having my parents around, as they watch her while I am at work.
