Nap time is horrible at my house. I'm pregnant again and need to nip this in the bud. We have always rocked our LO to sleep and then we will lay him down in his crib where he will roll right over onto his stomach and go to sleep. The problem is, this only works at night time. He will sleep 10-11 hours through at night. But a nap time, I will rock him, put him down, but the minute he feels himself being put down in the crib, he is wide awake again and standing up. So I rock him again and do the same thing and sometimes this repeats for an hour. I just started the cry it out method because being pregnant again, he is just too heavy to rock, not to mention my back! I rock him for a minute and put him down. But he will cry for an hour even with me going in every ten minutes or so and patting him and telling him I love him, but it's nappy time. Then I leave and he keeps crying. Today, it's two hours later and he
is still in there crying.
. Should I keep trying this method or something new?? Help! I need my down time and not a battle with my 1 year old every nap time. I hate to hear his crying and I know he would go to sleep if I just rocked him one more time..
