3 year old regressing! What can I do?

We have a 7 month old baby and my 3 year old shows signs of regressing. It's only recently started, he won't go to the bathroom without the light on, he used to turn it on himself, he won't get his own clothes, he used to change his clothes so much it'd make me nuts, and he's been much more whiney and defiant lately. I also have a 5 year old, so my 3year old was the baby, but with my 7mo old becoming more active and my 5year old starting homeschool he's not getting the same amount of attention. That's not to say he doesn't get attention, he's my snuggle bug and I probably hold his nearly as much as the 7mo, but this behavior is driving me up the wall! I don't get much alone time with any of them individually and I don't see that changing in the future. Has anyone been through this before? Do you know any little thing that may help him cope and possibly WANT to be my big boy? I'm at my wit's end lately.

He may need just a little more adjustment time. My daughter is 3 and then I have a 7 year old. So they were pretty much the same ages apart as yours. They see you doing everything for the baby.

Anyways, try a rewards chart and reward him for his behavior when he acts like a "big" boy. TRY, try, try to do something special with him weekly. He's now the middle child. Kind of a tough place to be. You could read a story to him ad your baby....I used to do that. It's hard to juggle all of this, I know.
