Hi all ,
My 3 yrs old daughter does not actually talk about the daycare and what she did there or what she had for lunch there ... I ask her everyday and she says " I donot know , mom".
She does not carry on a conversation about the daycare or the pree school ...
Any suggestion what should I do to make her talk ?

My 2.5 year old doesn't seem to remember to be able to talk too much about her day either. What I do now is I'll ask ahead of time what they were given to eat for breakfast/lunch/snacks ... I also ask if she showed any interested attention to specific activities/songs.

Once I pick her up from 'school', I'll probe with info I already know about, i.e. did somebody get to eat apple sauce for dessert today??? (in a sing song -that's sooo coool, kind of voice)...or I'll randomly start singing a specific song and she gets all wide eyed and excited and joins in lol
.... this helps jog her memory and I get a lot more smiles, giggles and convo.

dear michelle ,
She does talk a lot otherwise .. but when I ask about the daycare she just does not respond .. And I tried talking to the daycare workers about the problem and they said that give her some time, she seems to be a shy kid ...
Should I change the daycare .. or be with her at the daycare to find out the problem or pay a surprise visit.. or what .. I do not understand ..
please help

Does she talk otherwise? Have you spoken to the daycare workers?
There is a lot missing that you should be asking the people that care for your child before a bunch of strangers.
