Hi,
So I have a bit of an issue. My son is 15 months old, majority of the time he sleeps his nights. But there's are a few times during the run of a week that he wakes up and just wants to be held while he drinks 1-2 oz of milk. My problem is I'm going to be up every 3 hrs in a couples of weeks with our new born daughter. Im wondering if any of you moms experience this and what or how did you get him back to sleep without soothing in by rocking him while he drinks his milk. Please help.

I never gave my daughter a bottle, but she used to wake at night to nurse. I wouldn't recommend giving a bottle at night in the crib at 15 months. Tooth decay and a bad habit could ensue. I would go to him in the night and tell him that he can't have milk anymore at night time, he is a kid now, not a baby anymore. I did this with my daughter for about a week until she stopped waking up at night. I would also suggest that you wait a few minutes before going in to comfort him, to see if he will fall asleep on his own.
I hope this helps, I am 33 weeks pregnant also. Good luck!

I've never really let him try and fall back to sleep I've always just gotten up to see what he wanted but there are time where he'd wake up and cry for 2 minutes and go back to sleep. I'm going to try tonight if he wakes up to give him his blanket and sippy. Thanks :)

I'm not sure if this will work, but worth a shot. Have you tried just giving him a stuffed animal and/or his cup and letting him fall back to sleep on hia own?
