5month running temp

my 5 month old is running a temp. of 101.7 has been running one all night?tylonol didnt even help it.what should i do?

tylenol never brought my daughter's temps down. I always had to use motrin. You can give them motrin, then wait three hrs. and give tylenol, then wait three hrs. and give motrin again and keep doing it this way. That way you are not giving anything to her too soon, but she will always have something in to help the fever. If you think she has something really wrong, or you are getting scared, then call the doc.

Yep alternate tylenol and motrin. Also since you haven't said any other signs you need to see a doctor to rule out ear/throat infections.

Your baby has a fever but its not too high so no need to panic. I would take baby to the doctor as soon as you can though as there is always a reason for a fever.

Have you tried Children's motrin? I find motrin works better than Tylenol on my kids.
