My 8 month old daughter was always developing fast, and a lot faster than other babies her age. But one day she just stopped. Now she doesn't sit up, she doesn't attempt to crawl, or anything. I'm not sure if she is falling behind, or maybe she's just being lazy! lol She can and does stand for long periods of time while holding onto something, but she otherwise she just rolls around to get where she wants to be. Any advice?

Thank you. Well there was on day that she would sit up for about 1 or 2 minutes, and then she would go to the side and fall over, but since that day she just won't sit up anymore. I don't know if maybe she just isn't interested in sitting up, or if she is just doing it when she feels like it.

If she can stand I am sure she can sit up so she must be just lazy when it comes to that. My daughter was pulling her self up on furniture before she started to crawl but she got there. you just need to be patient and not push. I don't think she is behind on anything my daughter didn't crawl till she was 10 and a half months and walked at 13 months. Best of luck soon she will be everywhere and getting into every thing.
