My 8 month old son cries and will not stay still when I change his nappy. I've tried giving him a small toy to play with or changing his nappy when he is having a bottle but it does not work. The same happens when I try to dress him. What else can I do to calm him down?

I have the same problem with my 15 month old son. He really 'KICKS OFF' its terrible. The only thing that works (7/10 times) for me is to give him something hes not usually allowed to touch like my mobile phone, the tv remote, utensils, anything that is safe and 'new' lol. x

i put stickers up that she can see and sometimes point them out so that she's like oooooh for two seconds so i can get something done!! she likes soft books too, so i try that sometimes, keeps her hands busy! and she loves holding a clean diaper and looking at it... good luck!! :) :)

i have the same problem with my 20 month old daugter it just her nature to be defiant!! lol i say no ands she says yes she has always been like this but 1 surgestion i have is encourage him with lots of praise when he does get changed like clapping hands and playing peep a boo with him when you put his top on. and hopfully (fingers crossed) he loves being the centre of attention and makes things easier for you lol good luck!!
