our 9 month old got hold of her sister's cup the two days ago and sucked down her cow's milk. her diaper rash is very hard to treat from this. i've been using Neosporin with Aloe and Desitin, no baby wipes, just wet paper towels. but she's still in a lot of pain when i have to change her diaper, she's still very red and it's not getting better yet. she's red from front to back. any suggestions?

thx!

thx moms! it's not yeast, she's had that a few times already and now i'm well-schooled on yeast rashes. it's just a real bad one. i'll call the doctor, at 4am i was at my wit's end w/her in pain so i turned to moms. thanks again!

good grief - i always used desiten - a very thick substance water cannot penetrate and topped with powder - in three days she should be cleared up

I would call her dr and see if they ahve a suggestion. I use Resinol on my son and its works like a charm everytime. If her rash looks more like a yeast infection (which is what I would guess it to be..) then you will probably want to try some kind of anti-fungal powder (I use Zeasorb AF, my son is prone to yeast infections)
