If you use a bottle it might be the nipple that is letting in too much air when your baby is eating. But, if your baby isn't being bottle-fed and only breast-fed then it comes down to the fact that your baby has an immature digestive system. It is common for babies to be gassy, babies process their gas differently ( some easier than others). The only thing you can really do is wait it out until your baby's digestive system matures. If you choose to switch to formula your baby will still be gassy.

If you breast feed it is totally normal for babies to go several days without pooping. Even up to 2 weeks. Beast milk does not have much waste as compared to formula so therefore breast fed babies don't poop as much. Try gripe water for gas issues .

that's when u talk to the ped an they will talk to u about formulas an one that will work with him.. I want t ay don't give up cuz ur doing a good job. your baby will be ok. I kno I freaked out with my son after breast feeding. it turned out to be ok. formula still gives them the things his body needs.

my son did the samething and we thought we had to switch the formula.but to be honest all I did was switch bottles.we started using the dr browns and they worked so good. it helped to keep air out of his belly. and my son using the bathroom every other day but he still pushes a lot. the dr says that it Is a normal thing as long as it doesn't come out hard. but the best thing I did for his gas was switch the bottles
