You definitely sound like a concerned mother, Helen. I know it isn’t easy to parent a child who battles with ADHD. I think you may be interested in the book Why A.D.H.D. Doesn’t Mean Disaster by Dennis Swanberg and Diane Passno. To obtain a copy, check with your local library or an online bookseller. I just said a prayer for you and your daughter. May God bless you both. Hugs!

Whoa, whoa, calm down. Yes, your daughter can have a full happy and wonderful life and even go to college.

What is the best treatment? My question to you is how do you know that your daughter has ADHD? Was she tested by a licensed professional? If so, maybe he or she can advise you on what to do next.

Or you can always go online for info, but I would definitely go for the expert advice. Also, I have found (as I have ADHD) that cutting down on sugars and junk food is really helpful.

Hi my husband has ADHD he went to college got his degree and we have a son who i think has it its not a bad thing his attention span is just a little short, my husband gets bored easily so i try to go out more and make sure my son is always busy. She will be fine i was scared when my husband told me i asked his mom about school how was he and she only said he couldn't sit for long hours. Hope this helps a little
