So my 10month old is refusing to nurse and I am unsure what to do, the doctor said that he was too young to go on whole milk and I do not want to supplement with formula. Any one have any ideas on what to do?

i started feeding my son whole milk at that age...he is a growing healthy 3 year old now. I would try it out and see how he takes to it. Watch out for vomiting or extra gassiness. If this happens I would agree he is not ready for it. But if not I say go for it. There is no use switching him again in 2 months from formula to whole milk. Good luck!

As much as it sucks; grab the pumps.
My daughter did a similar thing where for 2whole weeks she just would not nurse but, after that out of nowhere she just took back to it. So, Pump for now and hang in there he'll comeback.
Also, perhaps it's something your eating? they say that your milk holds a small flavor of what you eat. So perhaps it's something too spicy, or he hates brocoli? Try eating more sweet tasting stuff and see if it helps.

You could pump and give it to him in a bottle. he is only 2 months away before you can introduce Milk, maybe that will work.
