i have a 15 month old boy and just lately hes become really aggrestive, he throw hes toys hits me and really hurts his 3 year old brother, he pulls he hair bites him, hits him over the head with toys and wont let him go near me or his dad, they used to be really close but now my 3 year old doesnt like playing with my younger son anymore and its heart breaking, i think 15 months is far to young to punish a child allthough i tell him its wrong nothing seems to work, please help!

I also don't think its too young for consequences (I prefer using that word over "punished") I would try removing him from the situation first if you see him getting aggravated, but I think a minute (literally 1 minute) of time out using a timer would work pretty quickly. You'll probably have to put him back on the chair a few times, just make sure he knows when the timer beeps he can get down and don't give him attention when he is there. But I think the BEST thing to do is catch him doing good things, give him lots of praise and love when he's playing nice, he'll catch on. Don't worry though, what you're going through is completely normal. Good luck!!!

hi it's not too young to be punished now. if you don't get a hold of his behavior now you may be sorry. remember he is only going to get bigger and stronger with time.

good luck
