Am I insane?

I am having a beer at the dining room table and asked hubby to join me, as he is having a beer in the living room, too. He said "No, I want to sit down and relax." WTF? You can sit down here with me at the table and he said no. Am I wrong to feel slighted??????

I have realized that just as hard and stressful my day has been, my husband feels the same about his day. You both need to sit down, whether it be at the table or the couch, and talk about how much time you need with one another. My husband and I make time once or twice a week to either go out, or if we cant go out when we put baby down we will do something that we BOTH want to do together, watch a movie, a game on tv, whatever. Its very important for you two to be on the same page and have a healthy marriage for your childs sake.

lol i feel you. I really go crazy having no time with adults. I honestly caught myself saying "ba-ba" and "poopy diaper" to a grown adult the other day (so embarrassing) I don't think it's too much to ask to just want some adult company when you can.

Why don't you join him on the couch? What if he's got sore, tired feet from doing whatever he does all day?

My hubby has hard days at work, (he's in the Navy) and when he comes home, if he doesn't want to stay downstairs with me after the kids have gone to bed and he just wants to be on his computer for a while, I'll go up to his office and sit on the couch and talk with him there. Otherwise I'd be stewing downstairs wishing he'd frickin' spend some time with me.

no not at all as a mom you feel like all you have is your kids and your mate as a stay at home mom you spend 24 seven with the kids and you just want to relax with your love one and when they turn you down its like your all alone
