my son is only 9 months and he's really tall too. he fits almost perfect into 12 months clothes. i don't know if its a common thing that i have nothing to worry about but its just so weird considering I'm just shy of 5' and my sons dad is only 5'7".

You didn't say how old your child was. I would have to check my kids' stats but my son was in 2T by a year and actually so was my youngest daughter. She is now 3 and was in 4T before she turned 3! She just made it on the charts for weight so we are happy about that. No more extra weight checks :)

sound like your son is going to be tall. my boys are on the tall side but they also come from a family with people about 6'6 but that been the tallist. my youngest is 2 and where 4t to 5t and wheres size 6 in diapers. i wouldn't worry to much.

My 5 month old is also in 12 month clothes. Some babies are just tall. The only negative aspect of this that I can find is constantly having to buy him clothes. He hasn't stayed in any size long enough for me. His big sister spoiled me (she was in 24m and 2t until she was 3.5!).

if u or the father is tall its very normal. my son is only 6 months and he is 30 in long. my husband is a very tall man so he takes after him.

I was 21 inches long when I was born. Long and skinny. There is nothing abnormal about your son. Ever child is different and goes through different growth, if your doctor is not concerned than you should not be either.
