2 years old that is such a great age they love to do anything and everything.... I say plant a garden he will love to dig the holes and get dirty and he'll have a blast you can make it an inside garden or outside. You can make some home made playdough or buy some they love the stuff he may eat some he'll be fine! as long as you are getting in there and playing with him he is gonna love everything you can have him put the socks you fold in the laundry basket so you can put them away my kids love this I put the basket a little far so they have to toss them into it. You and do crafts let him glue things use glue stick or put some glue in a little bowl and let him use a Q-tip to spread it (less messy!) you can make puppets he can follow you while you dust with his own dust cloth he'll copy you.. I tell you 2 is a great age he will love just about everything as long as he can do it with you. Have fun!!!

This book has easy, fun ideas. Look online for ideas. Join a Mom's club, MOPs, etc and host playdates at your house or at a nearby park, etc.

Family Corner

Also, look online for educational tools and games. Good luck.

try playing tea or dress up my lil girl loves it or coloring. another really fun thing that they usually have a blast doing is play dough put dont a large plastic trash bag so it doesnt stick to anything get some stamps cookie cutters and go at it they will do it with you and have a blast for hours we did it at a birthday party for triplets that are 2 and all the kids there just loved it... or even play with like the little people or something like that with her and have h use her imagination to make them dance or fly like fairys or things like that.. even building with black with them will keep them happy and your mind off other things so you wont be nearly as bored..

well since you only have one to take care of, its much easier to maintain. dont you know the simple things is what makes them happy. you can use a sock that doesnt have a match and do sock puppets, or you can talk a walk and talk to him about your new neighborhood that way he gets use to it, but in a fun way, you know? different type of arts and crafts projects. when i usually have the car b/c we only have one car as well, i go to the dollar store and rack up on construction paper and activity books. if you have the internet access to you everyday, you can log onto nick jr and play the games with him, and he'll be learning too! um i also get coupons to chuck e cheese and take my kids out there once in a while, or the local park and him run, by you being new there, you'll probably meet other moms as well..just so some

Try going for a treasure hunt walk around the neighborhood, collect sticks, rocks, leaves, etc and if he's interested, take them home and color pictures and glue the stuff on. Make a fort with chairs and blankets and have a picnic lunch and nap inside, or take turns hiding toys in the living room, make homemade play doh, fingerpaint with pudding or whipped cream, draw with chalk outside, if you're friends with kids of similar ages have them come over, play in a little pool or sprinkler, or just put on some music and dance :)

Hm... that's a tough one. Do you guys have busses or anything that is dependable?

I bought season passes fr the zoo and Sea World so we can stay busy. Also, we have a children's museum, that has free entry for 3 hours once a week. But if you can't get anywhere then i would suggest walks with the little one. Collect things on the way or spot things on the way. Go to the park.

I don't know if you guys have a Michael's in your area but you can buy some supplies there and do some art work and stuff with him. Those are always fun.
