My daughter is 3. Recently she has started waking up several times in the middle of the night-some nights she'll wake up my 4yr old & my 4yr old has to come get me and sometimes she'll wake me up and sometimes she'll just sit up by herself & I'll find her in the living room curled up on the couch w/her fave pillow and blanket asleep....What should I do?

I got my 2 and 4 year olds the Twilight lady bug and turtle....its a nightlight that throws stars all over their ceiling. it has 3 different colors. when they wake up, they turn it on and looking at the stars usually puts them right back to sleep. it also has a 45 min auto shut off built in so it doesn't kill batteries right away and the buttons are right on top and easy for kids to push to turn on. they aren't too expensive really...i searched online to find the cheapest prices for them and found them for around $20 each.

I'm there with you I have a three year old he will be four in april and he is a night owl will not sleep in his bed or alone, he loves to be up late and will fight my hubby and I to the death to go to bed he will cry for hours and when we get him to sleep he is up and down the hole night crying and what not, It is really hard all around I just think three year old stage is hard but I think I'm going to try the twilight nightlight it sounds like a good idea hope it works for you good luck!

I second the Twilight nightlight. I got it for my twin nephews and it's helped them a lot or so says my sister-in-law and brother.

I hate to admit it but the supernanny method has worked for me....every time they get out of bed I calmly put them ( 5 yrs and 3 yrs) back to bed in their own bed.....some nights they sleep all night...others they wake up several times.....but it is getting less and less every week....

Maybe she is having nightmares. My daughter started doing the same thing around the time she turned three. It is much less now, but it took almost a year for her to calm down and put herself back to sleep after a nightmare. Sometimes I would go rub her back for a minute and she'd go right back to sleep.
