Any tips for flying with a toddler?

I'm flying to see my college roommate with my daughter, who'll be 15 months, and need some travel advice. She's active and always wants to be on the go. I've heard that some people give their kids Benadryl?? Suggestions Please. :)

Bring some snacks, quiet toys, DVD player if possible, and travel during the night or nap time. Chances are she will probably sleep anyways but nap/night it wont mess the schedule up to much. something to chew on is a good idea for take offs and landing just like adults, however with their little ears it irritates them more.

remember an extra outfit for her and shirt for you.

Airport tips, find an area where no one is and let her run around and play as long as she isn't bothering anyone it should be fine. if your using a stroller I wouldn't put shoes on her till after your in the airport so you don't have to mess with those at security

As far as benadryl I wouldn't personally do it since you never know what side effects may arise in the air with no medical attention.
