Looks like you have lots of good suggestions.  I wish I had asked around.  I have the Jeep one and HATE it!!!

I have a Joovy Caboose stroller and I love it. It great if your oldest likes to stand but still has a buckle if you don't want her too. I never have a baby sit on it but it does come so you can put one on.

I love my BOB Revolution Dualie!  It is one of the only side-side doubles that fits through a regular door!  I can also push it with one finger with the kids in it.  We bought our b/c we had a set of twins.

I second this!  It's the best stroller out there.  You don't even really push it- just steer it.  And, you can buy a car seat adapter kit so you can just pop the baby's car seat in it.  It's very expensive, but you can sell it for almost as much as you paid for it.

I also have the Phil and Teds, I have the sport buggy and it rocks! Everywhere I go people ask me where I bought it. It is amazingly versatile. You can use it as a single or a double. When it's in double position it is no bigger than a single size stroller and it's super chic. In first position, the infant will lay flat in the back w/ your toddler in the front, then it converts to toddler in the front, baby in the back in an upright positon. It's a bit pricy, but worth every penny!

I also have double schwinn jogging stroller. I love it! Lots of storage behind as well as underneath the seats, and they recline separately! We live in northern B.C. and we needed a stroller that fit both kids, could still fit through regular doors, was able to handle tough terrain and could easily be pushed through lots and lots of snow!I I am extremely happy that we did not go with a tandem stroller; a tandem would not have survived up here! I have a 3 yr old son and a 14 month little girl, (we got the stroller when my little girl was 7 months) and they constantly fight, I would rather have them sit side by side in the stroller than have one in front of the other!

I just recently got a Kolcraft Contours (I pasted the link from toys r us for it)

I have a 18 month old and a 2 1/2 month old. I LOVE this stroller! It is heavy but it maneuvers around stores great, holds my peg perego infant seat (and many other brands) so I don't have to wake her up to get her in the stroller, the seats have different positions ( the children can face each other, both forward, both backwards, one each way). And the seats recline for when they fall asleep! I definitely recommend this one!

We have a double schwinn jogging stroller. I love the way it rides, even though we don't jog much! lol! It glides through the rough terrain everywhere with ease! I have a 4 year old, an 18 month old and a 4 month old. I am interested to see how it will work out this summer with having the 18 month old and 4 month old sitting next to each other. I have to admit that I am a little wary about that...but time will tell. You would have to make your own judgement on that. But I feel that it is the easiest to push and the smoothest ride around.

I also have the Joovy caboose and love it! I can even have three kids on it with one in the front, one sitting and one standing on the back! I would highly recommend it. It is so much easier to move around and so much shorter then the traditional double strollers.

Joovy caboose. I t has a seat in front, which will hold almost any car carrier seats, and a seat in the back for yor older child. The seat in back can be a seat with or without a belt and/or a place to stand. My 3year old refuses to get in a stroller but will willingly get on the back of thsi. I love it.

My daughter was 18 months when my son was born and I found the Jane Powertwin 3 wheeler tandem stoller fantastic.  They are now 3.5 and 2 and I still use it regularly.  It's a little narrowner than an average stroller and folds down really neatly for the car.  Fantastic!!  It's a little pricier than the rest but in the past 2 years I have gotten my moneys worth.  The back compartment is for the newborn and the front for the toddler. It will also take the babies carrier in the back.  Very flexible.  Worth checking out!

I purchased the InStep Safari double jogger. I have a 5 month old son and watch a 4 month old boy as well. I liked this because both seats recline separately and because my son is big for his age, I didn't think the strollers that seat the kids behind each other would work. I love it and so do the boys. I also know that it will be great when we have another baby. There is an attachment you can get so an infant carseat clicks in.

We do a lot of stuff outdoors so it is perfect!

Hi Amber, We also have the Graco DuoGlide and it has worked great for us. Easy to fold down with one hand if needed. We have had ours for 3 years now and it is still in great shape. I like that it is only as wide as a regular single stroller it works great at stores even with narrow aisles.

I have the Sit-n-Stand stroller and I love it!  It's easy to maneuver and it folds up so compactly which came as a pleasant surprise to me.  My three yr old loves it because it gives him the freedom to sit, stand or walk as he pleases.  It also works with most models of carseat carriers so you don't have to worry about buying the same brand.  There is a big basket under the toddler seat that holds tons of stuff too.  Congrats on the new baby!

I'm about to consider a double stroller myself and one thing I would strongly suggest even though it may be time-consuming, is if at all possible take your two-yr old and have him sit in several.  I was considering a few, but after having my son sit in the front/back (depending on model) I realized he was just too tall and he wouldn't be comfortable.  If your son is like mine, he won't be in a stroller for too long, so I'm deciding to go with the Sit-n-Stand stroller.  It's where the baby is in the front and the toddler has the option to sit on a padded seat facing you or stand facing front (where he can just jump off and walk next to you when he wants to).  That's just my opinion.

Best wishes and congratulations!

I also have the Graco Duoglide and its the best!  I have a 9 month old and an almost 3 yr old and it worked really well when my youngest was just born because if you have the Graco carseat it fits right in the stroller just like it would in a single stroller.  It also has a huge space on the bottom of it for the diaper bag and whatever you need to take with you.  It folds down like a single stroller but the only thing I dont really like about it was when you fold it down its much bigger than a single stroller so it just fit in the trunk of my car and if we took it shopping we couldnt put anything in the trunk with it. Hope this helps!

Hi Amber,

We are thinking of getting a Mountain Buggy, they are sturdy and if i'm not mistaken, on some models you can get a cot and a seat and use both together so your newborn is in a bassinette and your other child is in a seat!

My oldest was almost 3 when I had my second child, and the stroller we got that I absolutely love is the Graco Duoglide. It's tandem, and it's not any wider than a regular single stroller, so you can basically take it anywhere you can take the single. The carseat fits in either seat, and I discovered that if you put the heavier child in the back the stroller steers better. It folds down just as easily as a regular stroller also. Hope this helps.
