My son is 10.5 months and I just can't get the weight down. I gained about 55 pounds during pregnancy and I am a small person. My son was over 9lbs and I retained a lot of fluid and with diet and exercise I got down 44 pounds. But I am stucks since January.
I was going to a dietician and counting calories but nothing is working, I try and kickbox a couple times a week and take the baby for walks but my midsection is so big feeling. There are not stretch marks or saggy skin, just round still. I have been this weight before, at my heaviest, and that was still smaller than at this weight now.
I use to be a 4/6 and now an 8 and had to pack away my clothes. Any suggestions besides the usual, exercise, life weights, eat right...which is what I already do.

Thanks

And my belly fat literally melted...I mean, the food I ate was a real big part of getting rid of stubborn belly fat...I did not have a six pack belly but I didn't have to wear any undergarments to hold in my belly and with a t-shirt on it looked completely flat.. my hubby was suprised..I looked better than I did before pregnancy..

I was afriad to try Weight Watchers because I didn't want to sign up for the fat girls program because I never saw myself as that and I just didn't want the self esteem issue keeping me from being successful.. but I just did it and said, I've got to try something... and it was the blessing of my life...now I know what I can eat and what it's going to do to my body.. I don't even feel bad about some of the real good foods that I used to chug because I know that too much of it will cause me months of anguish and I learned to make my fatty favorites in different ways so I still get to enjoy!

Oh, and it's not a starve you program, you have to eat a large variety of your own personal choice and exercise that you log can be so many things, including gardening, walking, cleaning the house, playing Wii, and it all counts when you hit your body with the right food, the right exercise.....And I DID NOT RUN NOT ONE DAY! I walked on a treadmill, climbed a ladder at the gym, rode the bike (barely) at the gym, lifted weights for my more problem areas and sat in a sauna....

I just want to say that a size 8 is still small. I wouldn't say you need to lose any weight.

Having a baby will change your body shape. You can't expect to grow another life inside you for 9 months and for it not to have an affect on your body.

I have had 3 children and I'm nowhere near the size I was before I had children. I'm still a healthy weight for my height though. My husband loves my curves and I have decided that I am proud of the way I look after bringing 3 wonderful children into the world that it doesn't matter that I don't have a bikini body anymore.

Second you need to have a good diet and "eat clean" 5- 7 servings of fruits and veggies a day. Fruit at in the morning or lunch veggies all day long you need to eat more veggies then fruit try a 4 veggie 2 fruit. (banana counts as 2 fruit) You carbs (they give you energy should be consumed one in the morning and then the other at lunch or dinner not both0 serving size the size of tennis ball if mashed one ice cream scoop. Corn & Baked potato are a carb not a veggie. Your protien should be grilled boiled broiled baked but NEVER FRIED. :D I know i'm way late in responding to your weight loss need, although as I learned myself it's never to late or rather better late than never.

I was reading your post. I found out about this amazing shake diet through my personal trainer who is a friend of mine. Take a look at Body by Vi (svalderrama.myvi.net) He got me on the transformation kit and I love it because it is so easy and efficient. It's a Protien shake that tastes like cake mix and you can make any, literally any flavor smoothies you want.

One for breakfast and one for lunch and then a nice sensible dinner, along with wise choice snacks in between if needed they also give you a metabolism booster and a hunger control thing to help. If you don't normally exercise at all start with a walk and just push yourself to walk a little farther everyday, if you do exercise just continue with your routine.

I lost 13 lbs in my first month and I had been stuck @ 150lbs for 3 years originally I was 185 after the birth of my baby, i started to exercise and got down to 160 joined Jenny crags for 2 years and got down to 150 (10 bs only) and have been stuck there until last month. I literally tried every diet and weightless company out there and gave up. Until he told me about this over a month ago. Of course I blew it all in one weeks worth of a vacation to Jamaica but I started over again this past Tuesday, it has been a slight challenge this time around but so far 3 lbs down. it looks pricey but I calculated it and it turns out to $8.00 a day beats all the fast food prices I was paying. :D wishing you the best of luck. The website to find it on or talk to a promoter is svalderrama.myvi.net they will tell you what you kit you need to lose the weight.

My kids are 4 and nearly 3.
I still have baby belly that I can't shift. I do core circuit work, cardio sessions, boxing, weights and yoga all an hour at a time and it still wont budge.

Sometimes you have to just accept things the way they are and stop worrying about things that you can't change. I know in myself I am fit and healthy and to me it is more important than the extra bulge here and there. Our bodies change after pregnancy, apart from the very few lucky ones, we won't always look or feel the same as before we had kids.
