Anyone taking the "mini pill" Errin? How were your periods after you started taking it?

Back in April, I started taking the mini pill Errin, due to an unplanned/unknown pregnancy that had resulted in a miscarriage. I requested to be placed on a birth control pill that would allow for me to continue to nurse my daughter, and to help prevent any additional unplanned pregnancies.

Since taking the pill, about a month after starting (May), I had some spotting that lasted about 2-3 days, and then 2 weeks later, I spotted again. Since then I have not had any signs of a period, that I can recognize. I do understand that I may be overcautious as I may be early asking for advice, but I wish not to stress about something that doesn't require stressing about.

Has anyone taken Errin, and how were your periods after starting?

When I was on the mini pill I had terrible mood swings. I don't think I bled at all, even spotting. The depo shot is another story, I spotted for months at a time, I would not recommend it.

Hi, I haven't taken the mini-pill before but have been on two different pills and had the jab and seeing as no-one had replied I just wanted to say that most contraceptives affect all women in different ways. After the jab I bled every 14 out of 16 days for nearly 2 years before my periods went back to normal and that was with the help of a pill. I suffer from anxiety so I know what you mean about stressing about it, all sorts of crazy things were flying through my brain but apparently it was normal for some women, I was just not told this before I had the jab.
So, my point is don't worry too much, it can take your body a while to adjust to the mini-pill and if you're still concerned ring your doctor, he might not need to see you to reassure you.
Good luck :-)
