Are kids ages by months or weeks in thier first year? My son is 12 weeks but still two weeks shy of being the same date he was born. ( Aug 14, oct 14, nov 14) Also, during pregnancy they're measured by weeks...

I agree with Sarah. Once they've turned 12 weeks then you can start counting in months : )

I have a little one that just turned a year old. I think i counted by days with my first baby up til her first month then i went by months from then on til the first year, then of course I went by years. I guess, since i am thinking about it, I did the same him my second. So, It is up to you. There is no specific way anyone is using. Take care!

I don't think it really matters, I have noticed that mothers tend to count weeks for a bit then switch to months, usually around your sons age. It just gets easier to keep track of :)
