Ever since my daughter was sick with the flu a few weeks ago she refuses to eat baby food. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so what do you feed your baby. She will only eat our food which isn't always the best for her.

My 7 month old will not eat baby food either so what i do is always make sure i have frozen veg in the house. That way if we are eating something she can not have a just pop a few pieces of vegis in the microwave and brake it up for her. That way she is still eating something healthy, and it only takes a min to get ready.

Hi! My teo sons refused top eat canned baby food, so I just had a hand mixer and mixed up what we ate, made sure it was a healthy diet and onbly introduced one food at a time, ( in case of an allergy) for a week, and then added another to it. Use no salt and that made the world of difference as I guess it was a better flavor for them? Hope this helps you out! Have a great day! If she is on antibiotics for her illness, it will alter her taste buds, or maybe just that she was sick and everything still tastes different to her because of it.

I don't know if she is eating solids yet, but if not, mashed potatoes, guacamole, hummus, cooked carrots, banana... but I hear ya! My son NEVER did eat baby food. He even snubbed the rice cereal no matter which kind I tried mixed with whatever. He nursed until he was 20 months and then put me through the ringer with his pickiness (actually, he still does, at 4). I think he lived on kix cereal at one point. But all you can do is keep trying different things, (even if you end up throwing most of it away). If you're really concerned, you could probably supplement her non-meals with some Pediasure.

Hello..My son HATED baby food!!!  Try making her a grilled cheese, or give her cubes of cheese, nutri-bars, there is a yogart that my son just loved..its called yo-baby.  Fruit chunks.  toast with some jam.  get creative.  they love it when you make things fun!!!  Good Luck
