Best mother's Day gift I could get!!!

[deleted account] ( 3 moms have responded )

My husband was laid off 3 weeks ago. He's been "under foot" ever since. Yesterday he told me he needed to get out he was going crazy...he went to the dollar store by him self. I couldnt believe it. I've been at this for over 3 yrs and he didnt even last a month. Just thought it was funny and thought some of you would get a kick out of this. He told me he doesnt get how I do it. He now understands when he would come home and the house was a mess and I didnt want to do anything but sit when the kids went to bed. I feel very lucky this mother's day to have a husband who understands (for now) how i feel and what happens around here. Anyone else proud of their husbands?

l go out shopping or to the library for a few hours at least once a week and leave the 3 kids home with their dad. He certainly appreciates what l do everyday being a sahm. Especially when l go out with my mom friends for a mom-night-out dinner. Then he has to try to bathe the kids and put them to bed, too.
But he is wonderful. l mow the lawn while he bathes the kids, two of them are 9 months old.

I do feel lucky...but ROFL maybe I should rephrase what I said...he helped with grumbles and mainly watched what I do. The other morning I kicked him out of bed and made him let me sleep in. lol Still glad he said he understands though

LOL, if my husband happens to watch the kids while I have an appt somewhere, all he does is sit with them! haha, he could never handle doing what I do every day, day in and day out. You have a good man there! Happy momma's day!!
