Hi, I need just a wee bit of time without the little guy on my hip....
PJ is 9 months old, extremely bright and very happy. He loves to crawl, loves musical toys and needs to be entertained all of the time.
What TV shows will keep his attention? I love Sesame Street. He is attracted to singing.
Any ideas?

Hi Jennifer, depending on who your provider is, I would look into Babyfirst Tv. It's only like $5 a month and it's all educational. They have some wonderful shows and my daughter (14mos) LOVES it!! I don't like her watching too much tv but sometimes you just need time to do stuff and this is the perfect channel. We've had it since she was a few months old and has loved every since show that was perfect for her age at the time. I would highly recommend it over any other show.
When she gets tired of it she also likes Clifford the big red dog (she loves the singing too) and Curius George.

I use PBS too. My son is a Curious George and Sesame Street fan. Also In the Night Garden on Treehouse... he is in a coma when that show comes on.

My boys both love the Backyardigans. They sing, they are colorful and not a bad show in my opinion. I also used the Baby Einstein DVDs. They really keep their attention...but that's not TV.

I pretty much leave PBS on all day at my house. Annabelle loves Super Why and Clifford. She "dances" to the theme songs, it's hilarious.
