My son is about to turn 3 and I want to plan something fun for his birthday. We have a lot of family living locally, and everyone keeps asking me what I have planned. I would like to do something that doesn't cost too much but I also want to make sure there are plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained.

It’s really tough to decide something for a birthday party, but if you want to plan something different, less expensive and appreciable,I think you should choose some wonderful themes for your 3 years old prince. A Dragon,Thomas the train,Angry bird theme party would be great for small kids. Also, to minimize expenses, you can host a potluck lunch or simply have a tea party. Here is a link that has awesome ideas on how to plan your party on a budget.Hope it helps.

He's going to have a great time regardless what you do... Dress up party is always fun I like to do a simple activity craft like deorating party hats or lolly bags, noodle boxes or place mats, biscuit decorating for a take home favour
, it saves money because you get an activity and a party bag take home treat or hat as well..., I also found a cheap but super fun thing to do is have a little dance Floor... Area and let the kids go for it.. Boys and girls just love it, and cost next to nothing all you need is your fav cd or iPod .. I have also put a heavy paper I the table and let the kids draw and colour it ... Good fun doesn't have to cost much just takes some imagination
