Boredom. Lack of support.

I am a new mom to a 12 week old little girl. I have been working as a therapist for quite some time and we decided as a family for me to stay home with our first baby!!! It's been exciting and fun so far but I am so worried about getting bored. I don't have many supports in the area I live and the friends I have don't have children.

Any advice of how to keep myself busy? Or how to meet other moms?

Hey Samantha! Im a registered nurse my baby is 10 months old now. Congrats on the new baby!! I live in prairieville, Im not sure what area you live in, but I have found some stuff on the side that has introduced me to tons of moms and built a great support system for me. I am passionate about health obviously but would love to share the information with you that has made tons of great friendships for me! It also helped me financially tons when I was at home with my baby she had some medical issues. Email me if you want!
Hope this helps! You're doing great mommy! Enjoy every minute!

Have you looked for mom and baby programs? People think they're for the babies, but they aren't! It's for moms to find other moms and have people to talk to who can talk back.

Check libraries, rec centres, early years centres, etc. A lot of cities also have a website that lists resources for parents, and usually they have an events calender and playgroup directory.
