Boring days!

I have been a stay at home mom for 3 years. I love it, but sometimes I feel like I'm getting bored and I catch my self snacking way more than I need too. I was just wondering if anybody has tips.

I find that there are endless things to do to keep busy (baby's activities, housework, laundry - and there goes an entire week!). Seriously, I continue to wonder what on earth I am doing wrong? I dont get time to be bored! But I agree with you on the snacking part, I eat to procrastinate, or just because its there, or because I want a ciggarette (quit the day I found out I was pregnant at 8 weeks, bub is 10mo and still want one all the time). I dont have an answer for the snacking - I am trying to keep healthy snacks like celery sticks ready but somehow I still end up in the biscuits!!!

I think I could eat all day! I have tried drinking more (no, not THAT kind of drinking!!). I usually only drink water but when I am trying to avoid snacking, I try flavored seltzers or watered down juice just to make it seem like more than plain water. I'm terrible at keeping healthy things on hand, but I wish I did. Not sure where you are living, but here it's winter and that's hard. Cooped up often leads me to more boredom and more snacking. I find nap time to be the real I am trying to do more than just sit around during the time. If I am busy, I eat less.

I have only been a stay at home mom for five months. But, I have gotten the urge to snack quite frequently. I try to keep myself busy playing with my son, and while he is napping I occupy myself by getting on the computer, doing homework, or doing the housework that never seems to end.

I have the same problem. I just try to keep healthy stuff to snack on and if I feel like snacking I will drink some crystal light first.
