I'm a mom of a beautiful 6 week old baby girl. I'm breastfeeding and was wondering when will my breasts stop leaking milk?

not until you stop, haha! Gosh, I lived on breast pads the entire 7 months, had to wear them day and night. Johnson & Johnson made a fortune on me. And not like I was HUGE by any means. My son is 6 yrs and sometimes I still squeeze out a little milk from the nipple. Especially around periods when my boobs are tender.

Oh, I do not miss that! For me it took quite a while, and up to the day I stopped producing-2 years later- a particualr thought about my child or the sound of her crying would stimulate the let down effect. Don't let that discourage you! Breastfeeding was one of the most rewarding things I could do to bond with my baby.

It could happen soon, or you could leak up until she stops all together and your milk totally dries up, everyone is different.
I think I leaked for the first few months, then it stopped once my body got used to how much milk to make. I did sleep with a towel sometimes to keep from wetting the sheets so much. Hello laundry!
