Who is breast feeding and formula feeding, and when did you decide to start doing the two. I am interested in giving my 2 month old just one bottle of formula before bed for the next month and then 2 bottles the next month and so on, is this a good idea?

I have a six week old and he has formula before bed at night sleeps 930-130am. Then I breast feed to top him up for the morning feeds. That extra sleep helps ALOT and it def works wonders. What ever works for you!! Don't listen to anyone else ;)

I breastfed for almost a year. I didn't want to use formula unless absolutely necessary because of the cost and the health benefits of breastmilk. I would encourage you to keep breastfeeding exclusively, unless you just don't want to. Just out of curiosity, what is your reason for wanting to introduce formula?

I attempted breastfeeding for 3 weeks. I started comp feeding formula at about 2 weeks as I never slept and it was awful. Do you want to formula feed the baby? If you don't want to then don't do it.

i bottle and breast fed right from the start, i didnt want to but the hospital said i didnt have enough milk for him =( and he was born very small so he needed the extra, im almost done weaning now, hes 15 months old...its a good idea to do it but you need to make sure you keep your own milk supply up, dont depend on the bottle
