I am exclusively breastfeeding my 4month old baby boy but it seems like if I have my ups and downs with my supply. Baby latches on just right, I drink up to 6-8 bottles of water a day, I am taking the fenugreek pills, eating oatmeal every morning and night, but still I have my ups and downs with maintaing my supply up. Does anyone have any suggestions. I feel bad when I feel like I didn't satisfy my baby, and I know he falls asleep hungry because he takes his pacifier and sucks on it like if he wants milk to come out of it. Please somebody give me some advice.

So true, Sara. My daughter was a lazy eater. She'd fall asleep every 15minutes & I had to tickle her feet to wake her up and nurse her. Kids know best, what their body needs. Your supply will keep up.

Sara you are most definitely right! I was suggested those herbs by public nurse, who assured me that both herbs have extensive research done. However as with any medication or herb caution is advised, and it is best to talk to your doctor before taking anything.

Have you tried "jungle juice"? It replenishes your energy and increase milk supply.

Have you tried combining blessed thistle with fenugreek? the combination of the two will increase your milk supply much better. For me it helped when I ate slightly more protein, and dairy, maybe try that too.
