bubble bath

[deleted account] ( 6 moms have responded )

My daughter is almost 3 and loves bubbles. Before her sister was born every night was bath night with bubbles. My other daughter is 10 months old and just gets thrown in the bath well honestly when Mommy gets a chance and she's not to tired. I can't remember when a safe age is to start adding bubbles. I know you can't let girls sit in bubbles but they both love them? Should I start it?

I know with my daughter i have just been using the baby body wash and it makes bubbles. however i wash her and get her bathed and take her out, i dont leave her in too long. when i first was thinking about doing bubble baths i was reading articles and they were all saying how careful you need to be the younger the child, especially like you said with girls. with the bubbles, they can get urinary infections and it makes it hard for them to pee just like it would be for an adult. so they recommend to wait till they are older... but as long as your careful and your not just leaving them in the water for long periods of time i dont see too much of a problem.

I've used a childrens bubble bath with my daughter since she was about 4 months old. I had never heard anything not to use it, but she seems ok. She loves the bubbles

I have a baby bathwash that makes bubbles. I would just check to make sure it is a baby product and not too harsh.

I don't think it should be much of a problem if you want to give her a bubble bath.
