Okay Moms.. I Have Two Babies My Oldest Is 18 Months, Youngest Is 3 Months.. Im A Stay At Home Mom.. Its Been A Long Cold.. Winter.. And I Have Yet To Be Comfortable To Have My Oldest Go Outside And Have "Fun" With My Sisters Kids Which Are 6-7.. So I Keep Him Inside Alot.. But Once I Do Let Him Out And We Go Places.. Hes So Prone To Catching The Ugly "Stomach Flu" :( Do You Think That Him Being Inside Alot ... Hes More Capable Of Catching Nasty Bugs Like This? Its Just A Theory.. But Shall I Just Risk It And Let Him Outside More?? Please Help Me...

Hi Trisha, I think it is a good idea. I was a bit hesitant at first to let my little guy out and about in the world as I also worried about him catching a bug. The funny thing is the first cold he caught was from his older sister (in the home). I think at times we as mothers are so wary of our kids getting sick that we can possibly contribute to their immunity being weakened. Of course this is not scientifically based, only my humble opinion. Just use your super mommy common sense and I think you'll be fine. Kids enjoy being outside and I'm sure your little one is no different.

I just get super anal about him being sick and im terrified of being sick as well and than i cant take care of my babies :( idk maybe its just me..
