I have a 19 month old and have recently stopped his dummy during the day, since then he
drinks juice a lot more. But he has started getting really runny nappies and a sore bottom. So I stopped him having so much juice and started giving him water instead and his nappies went a bit more solid, so is he allergic to juice or is he just having too much of it. :/

Juice is a very concentrated form of fruit that often does not contain the amount of natural fibre that you would get from eating a piece of fruit. Some juices contain artificial flavours colors and added sugar. You could try watering the juice down to about 1/8 normal strength. Plain water in my opinion is probably better. If you want him to have the goodness in the fruit a portion of stewed whole fruit may be better than juice, containing the nutrients and fibre without being over concentrated.
