Hi there,
baby blues takes place a few days after given birth and can last for a few days, some mums then suffer from post-natal deppresion, i do no a friend who has suffered badly from post-natal deppresion but this was discovered 1 year after having her little one!! maybe you should see your doctor, explain how you are feeling! if that then does not help try taking some alone time, i no its hard leaving your babys but you do need time to yourself some times, try doing something you enjoy, hope that helps

Medically talking Post Natal Depression is up to 6 months after the birth, but that doesn't mean that you are not depressed. Do you also feel fatigued? Maybe things have just gotten you down and you are suffering from depression. I really would go see your doctor, even if it's just some sort of hormonal imbalance that is causing your energy levels to drop and therefore resulting in depression. Please seek help. Good luck.

I don't think its called baby blues but i know what you mean. I am feeling very emotional tired and stressed out and my son is 14 months. i think its just a normal cycle you go through when you need a break. Do you have family close by? maybe get them to help out for a day. My mum has my son once a month for the day and it really helps me to recharge and remember why i love being a mother again.

I am not sure that it is the baby blues, but I would go see your Doctor. If you feel that it is affecting your kids, it proubably is. What about your other relationships?

Or Do you just need a break, a few days away to recharge?

That is what I am doing. My 21 month old is with my parents for a few days and I have the 12 week old. Sometimes it can help to just get a break.
