My daughter is ready to move out of her infant car seat, FINALLY!! She is 19 months and weighs 19 lbs, 13 ozs. However, she is developmentally delayed to the point that her therapist is suggesting staying in a rear facing car seat until she can sit on her own. We have a Jeep Grand Cherokee, does anyone absolutely love their carseat? And do you have any suggestions?

My son was able to ride rear-facing in the Britax Marathon until he was 27 months old. We're about to switch him to the Sunshine Kids Radian and let his little sister (9 months) use the Marathon. Both car-seats are great!

I bought both of my kids the Eddie Baur 3 in 1 car seats. My daughter is 22 months old, and sits very good in hers, and my son is 4, is not just using the booster. One of the best things about thes car seats are that I never had an issue with either of my children unlatching themselves and getting out of their seats. I've seen tons on moms with that problem.

You might want to research a bit about the alpha omega-I have read bad reviews about it being a booster.

I have a graco nautilus, evenflo maestro for my three year old. I have a Fisher Price something which is the britax marathon for my one year old. If you are wanting to extended rear face you might want to look at the Britax seats- they are more expensive but excellent seats.

I have the alpha omega elite 3 in1 and I absolutely love it and would recomend it to anyone .....it fit in my little lancer and it fits in both my xterra and my husbands frontier so it will fit in your car.

i have the graco nautilus 3 in 1 carseat!! it was a little more pricy than the others but its worth it in my opinion! it converts alll the way down into a booster seat and has extra padding around the head area (the head rest area can also be moved up in case your kid is taller than the avg kid!) it has a cup holder, and reclines a little bit (not all forward facing seats do that!) i love it! the only sucky thing about it is that its heavy..so moving it around is a pain in the butt but if you dont mind that or wont be doing that..then that wont be an issue!

I have the Alpha Omega Elite and really like it so far. It goes from 5 -100 lbs. My daughter is only 17 months, so we haven't done the belt positioning booster yet. The back rest adjusts up and down to adjust the strap hight rather than rethreading through holes. It's so much easier. It can be rear facing up to 35 lbs, so she'd have plenty of time to get strong enough before you need to face her forward.

I have a evenflo 3- in- 1 and a evenflo toddler carseat i think they are both amazing carseats . and not all that pricey the 3 in 1 is a bit big but if you are leaving it in your car full time you will have no problems .. we dont own a car so we have to take them in and out of the cars we are riding in so that kinda sucks lol but they are great carseats good luck
