Hi my daughter is 3 half has been diagnosed with epilepsy westsyndrome and mild cerebral palsy she had a stroke in the womb some point during my pregnancy she has severe developmental delay we have noticed she keeps slapping her right side of her face beside her ear. She is weak on her left side is it normal for her to do this. She starts nursery soon and i am worried

Heather, of course you are worried. Don't be hard on yourself for worrying and don't resist worrying either. Worry is just going to be there. Worry=Mother. To possibly empower yourself you may consider contacting your local United Cerebral Palsy and volunteer in one of the many programs they have running for fund raising. I know you will meet other mothers who have children dealing with mild cases as well. You will feel good about yourself for giving back and be in a network of like minds. You will worry less when you know you are not alone. Good luck.
