I am a stay at home mom to twin girls that are 22 months.. but I do work work out of the house 2 days a week. But the days I am at home I feel like all they want me to do is hold them it has gotten really bad the past few months and I'm at a loss of what to do. If I don't hold them they they just fallow me around seeing how can get me to hold them first by fight and screaming crying. Any advice would be great on how to get you child to no need you to hold them 24/7. Thanks!!

I know what you mean, my daughter is 13 months and the exact same way.

What I have been trying to do is say 'okay, one minute Mommy is just going to.....' and then go back to her and the I do it again and go do whatever I have to do.

She's getting used to play on her own and wait for me for a moment. I mean we are in the same room but I will have time to do the dishes and she'll play next to me, or whatever I have to do.. but so far it last like 5 minutes.
