SunBaby is a great brand also. That's what my girl uses. You need a paypal account though, but way cheaper than buying the ones that are available in stores. I paid $60 for 12 diapers with 12 microfiber inserts, and that worked out great for us. I would recommend the other inserts they have available if you have a heavy wetter. Now that my daughter is older (17 months) I have to double the inserts.

Here is a link to their store. Wow, wish I had known about this company back when J was in diapers! They are really cute and very affordable!

Most of mine were around $12-$20 each, which I justified the expense by telling myself that I would get more uses out of the $20 diaper than I would out of a $20 box of disposables, which was true--my diapers went through several hundred uses, and you cannot get 300+ diapers for $20. Try to think of it that way--it's kind of like buying 10 boxes of diapers all at once, but these diapers will far outlast 10 boxes of disposables. Plus better for the world :)

The alvababy diapers are like $5 a piece, no taz and free shipping. It does take a few weeks to get them but definetly worth it!

I order all of mine online. We have mostly alvababy diapers which I order for China. Alot of CD moms don't like them but they work great for us, especially if your on a budget. Another good site is diaperswappers.com, the majority are used and in great condition but that's the great thing about CDing is recycling. I also like cottonbabies.com they always have great deals. Hope that helps! =]

I bought pre folds from kmart, but the plastic pants were harder to find. I had to order them online from gerber.com

The best prices are online. There are a few boutiques in my area that carry them, but they are really expensive there, and these aren't big chain stores, so I couldn't tell you where to get them that would be available in all areas. Babies R Us had a few, but it was a VERY small selection--one brand, one fit, one color, and they did not fit my baby properly.

Amazon had the best prices when I was shopping, and they ship fast and have a good return policy.
