Constantly cleaning my house

I like to keep my home clean and organized but having 3 small boys its difficult to do. When I see my home a mess it stresses me out so I clean it up but then I feel burnt out all the time. My husband works so all the house and kids duties falls on me. I find myself stressed out and irritable a lot. I don't want to feel this way because I have a 4 year old who constantly wants my attention and my twin boys who are 7 months.

I felt the same way for a while. But then I realized the kids are only young once. I'd rather spend time with them while they're young and want to be with me. One thing I also did which helps is I created a chore list for myself. I wrote out all the things I needed to do then put them into categories of importance and how often I'd need to do them. For example, dishes are done every night while cleaning the bathroom was only once a week, maybe once every 2 weeks. Then I designated days for each chore. Floors are done on Tuesdays, the kid's laundry is done on Fridays, etc. That way each day has it's own chore, everything gets done, and you don't feel as overwhelmed. Be sure to set aside a day that has nothing to do, too. Also, get your 4 year old involved. My son is 4 and he actually loves to help me out. If you find a way to make it fun for him he will probably go for it too. Sometimes he helps by entertaining his sister, too so it doesn't always have to be cleaning that he's helping with. Hope that helps. :)
