Constantly sick Mama.

I have been sick three times since my sons birth in January. Before that I was hardly ever sick. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I take vitamins (prenatal), and avoid junk food. In fact some is all organic.

I had that happen after I had my daughter. I went to the doctor and he said that most of the time your body is making you sick because of the worry that you go through and worrying about why you are sick will just make it that much worse. You are going to be easier to catch something if you have been exposed to illness because your Immune system already has a lot on its plate trying to get your body back to normal so make sure you are getting lots of rest and practicing anti flu like stratagies (ie. washing hands, disinfecting, that sort of stuff)

Eating properly is important, so it's good that you concentrate on eating organic foods and avoid junk food. It's good that you take supplements, but unfortunately most of the supplements out there are not absorbed by our body, so it's important that we do our reasearch and get a high-quality one. Also, it seems your immune system is very low, so I sugges these 2 things to boost it: take in lots of antioxidants every single day and exercise 6 days a week. Also get enough sleep since sleep depravation lowers our immune system dramatically.

Are you eating properly? Getting as much sleep as possible? I know with a new born thats a silly thing to say but you do need to be getting your rest. Talk to your doctor, your body has went thru a dramatic change in the past year. It went from making and growing a baby to delivering him. Now it has to readjust to not being pregnant.
