Best thing to do is consult with pediatrician. I was given the ok on glycerin suppositories when my son was 3 months. We also were told by pediatrician that we could give him about 2 oz. of ApplePrune juice a day. The only way he will take it is mixed in this bottle. For instance, if its a six oz bottle. We put 2 oz of appleprune then 4 oz of water with formula first thing in morning and thats it for the day.

definitely too young. Babies can go 11 days without pooping and then you NEED to consult a doctor. If your baby is formula fed, it could be too much iron, perhaps change to a different one. if you are breast feeding, your baby should be pooping normally. Check your own diet and make sure you stay away from gassy veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, onions etc.

Babies can go days without a BM befor eyou need to worry- But no apple juice. Doctor visit if it doesn't clear up.

Around 2 months my son had constipation and no gas passing. His intestines had prolapsed and he needed care from a physician. THen many days of frequent glycerine suppositories- BY DOCTOR'S ORDERS ONLY, of course.

Yes!!! She is too young. How do you know she is constipated? Is she just not taking a poo frequently, or is she uncomfortable? How do you know?

Is she breastfed or formula fed? I only ask because what she's drinking will dictate how often she has a bowl movement.
