My daughter used to sleep no problem throught the night but since being moved to a 'big girls bed' she wakes up through the night crying for no reason. she never did it at first but does it frequently now. any help would be very much appreciated.

I leave a light on in my daughters room and it seems to work. I use a low watt bulb so it isn't too bright and plan to lower it until she no longer needs that extra light.

Maybe she is feeling scaried because the bed area is so much bigger then her other bed. Try to add some pillows to her bed to full up the open area around her. Also try to put a nightlight on for her incase she is starting to get scared of the dark. And one last thing I would suggest is turning on a radio or a loud fan to drown out any noise that she might also hear. Hope that you can figure out what is causing the problem so that ya'll can get a good night sleep soon.

Was she in your room before? For us ,I had to get special removable wall decals in his favorite super hero character. He has a matching blanky now too... He is doing fab!

she has a bear that she likes to go to sleep with but when she gets up thru the night she still has it, it seems sometimes that the minute you open a door she goes quiet but then 5 mins later it happens again

Does she have a special toy that she sleeps with? Even at 5 my daughter ask for a toy to hold onto at night, and each she chooses has a different purpose, if we have had a bad bug day (we are suddenly scared of all bugs, just a stage though) then she asks for her ferret that keeps the bugs away, and so on. Trying to give a toy a special purpose with a story to go with it and see if it helps, give it sometime though, nothing is overnight!

Good luck with it and God Bless.
