You can also take her diaper off to let air hit her rash my sons doctor told me to do that when he had a bad diaper rash when shes a sleep lay something under her while her diaper is off in case she goes . Also try desitin diaper rash cream put it on her each diaper change .

Feed her on a schedule. After a day or so she should no longer poop at night. Olive oil or almond oil is very soothing for nappy rash.
Could she be allergic to something new in her diet?
My children have reacted like this to too much citrus in their diet.

Have you tried giving her water? Hard poop is a sign of constipation/dehydration. Her poop should be soft enough to pass without any bother.
I would try simply giving her mashed fruit or veg. Not bananas, cos they bind you up.
Try mashed carrot and potato, mashed swede, mashed pear, apples, and no cereal for a couple of weeks. Babies can have veg mashed with gravy, or simply mashed in its own juice - they don't need milk with their food.
When you reintroduce cereal, use whole meal cereal, otherwise it might make her constipated.
Olive oil should help to soothe nappy rash.
Let us know how you get on.

Oh I just realised - is Similac her normal milk, or are you breast feeding her? If this is her normal milk, then of course you can't just not give her milk at her age. Could you try another type of milk?
